The West Tech Alumni Association was founded in 1982 and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1997.  Members of the Association include former students, faculty, staff, family members and friends of the West Tech community.  Many former West Tech Alumni are just learning about the Alumni Association, even though it has been in existence for twenty-five years.  Our presence is becoming more evident as Alumni Association event publicity can be seen in newspapers, cable television community bulletin boards, radio community bulletin boards, internet sites and flyers posted in libraries, post offices and various places around town.

The purpose and mission of the Association is:

	To promote education through the granting of scholarships to qualified individuals;
	To perpetuate the history and the memory of West Technical High School, Cleveland, Ohio, through the promotion of an alumni association;
	To maintain the memorabilia of West Tech;
	To raise funds to promote education through, by and for the alumni and their descendants thereof; and
	To foster a spirit of unity, loyalty and fraternity among its alumni.
