Membership 

The West Tech Alumni Association was founded in 1982 and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1997.  Members of the Association include former students, faculty, staff, family members, and friends of the West Tech Community.

The purpose and mission of the Association is to promote excellence in education through the granting of scholarships to qualified and deserving students; to perpetuate the history and memory of West Technical High School; to maintain the memorabilia and archives of the school and the Association; to raise funds to support the activities of the Association including the sale of merchandise; and to foster a spirit of unity and loyalty among the alumni.

To that end, the WTAA keeps members informed through its newsletter, The Tatler.  The newsletter contains information about meetings, scholarships, class reunions, alumni updates, fund-raising activities and the annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
